Last week we talked about things going on right now, and even until Sunday. Halloween falls on a Monday this year, and what better way to brighten up an otherwise lackluster day than with costumes and makeup? If you’re excited to celebrate Halloween, here are a few places around Fountain Square and downtown Indy that you should check out on the 31st:
HiFi
In Fountain Square and looking for somewhere exciting to celebrate Halloween? HiFi never disappoints!
If you love the Cure, you’ll fall in love with The Imaginary Boys. This Halloween you can check them out (along with A-Squared DJs) for a great show and awesome Halloween dance party. Everything goes down at 7:30pm and you can buy your ticket online, here.
The Melody Inn
Does anyone do Halloween better than The Melody Inn? For an all-out Halloween party, this is the place to be. Enjoy great drinks and live music, with special guests Hymn for Her.
Stop by at 8pm and be sure to come in costume. It’s bound to be a wicked time! For more details, check out their Facebook.
The Vogue
Join the biggest Halloween dance party in Indy at the Vogue for their special event, “Freaks Come Out at Night.” You’ll get to dance it out to music from Action Jackson, DJ Indiana Jones, Lemi Vice, DJ Limelight, and DJ Lockstar.
There’s also a $500 price for best costume, so get creative! Doors open at 9pm and you can learn more here.
Safe Night Halloween
If you’re looking for a place to bring kids this Halloween, Safe Night Halloween at the Indiana State Fairgrounds is an awesome choice.
Admission is free for all kids under 12 (and their parents), and it will allow kids to trick or treat safely, while showing off their best costumes. Find out more here.
Of course that’s not everything going on in the city. If you live in Fountain Square or Fletcher Place, Hotel Tango, Pure Eatery, Red Lion, and Tapper’s Arcade Bar are awesome places to check out if you want to drink, eat, and have a good time. Mass Ave is another awesome place to spend Halloween with stops like Bru Burger, Bakersfield, Ball & Biscuit, Libertine, and Metro to help make your Halloween night memorable.
What will you be doing this year for Halloween?
